RpPingBudget

Record what you spent by replying to a notification.

PingBudget sits in your phone's notification panel. Write down what you just bought, in your own words, and that is the whole thing.

Coffee Food, cash, today Rp25,000

Three steps, done in seconds

  1. 1

    Pull down the notification panel

The PingBudget notification is always sitting there. There is no app to open and no form to fill in.

  2. 2

Write it in your own words

"coffee 25k", "paid the electricity bill from BCA", "petrol 20 thousand". One short sentence, the way you would say it to someone.

  3. 3

    Check it once, save

Your sentence comes back as a draft with the amount, the category and the account already filled in. All you do is see whether it is right.

Inside the app

Replying to the notification is only the shortcut. Inside, it is as complete as any other money app.

Why you finally keep it up

Recorded while you still remember

Tracking usually fails because it gets put off, not because you are lazy. When it takes about as long as replying to a chat, there is nothing left to put off.

Your own categories and accounts

Your sentence is matched against the list you already keep, instead of inventing a duplicate category every time.

Your budget does not go anywhere

  • Amounts never show on your lock screen. The confirmation notification deliberately shows no figure, no item and no category.
  • Transactions, balances and history stay on your phone. There is no cloud copy of your budget on our server.
  • The server only interprets your sentence. The text is processed, the result is handed back to your phone, and nothing is kept.
  • The app has no account. There is nothing to register, and a purchase attaches to the device rather than to who you are.

Today's spending, recorded before you forget
